Canara Bank PO Recruitment 2018-19 Notification has been released on 23rd October 2018. The Canara Bank is a Leading Public Sector Bank invites Online Applications from eligible Indian Citizens for admissions to the specially designed One-year training course named Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) either through Manipal Global Education Services Private Limited, Bengaluru or NITTE Education International Private Limited, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The course comprises of 09 months of classroom studies and 03 months internship at Canara Bank's Branches / Offices. After successful completion of Canara Bank PGDBF 2018-19, the candidates will be placed as Probationary Officers (PO) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I for filling up total 800 Vacancies in the current selection exercise for Financial Year 2018-19. Educational Qualification (As on 1st October 2018):
(1) Any Graduate Degree in any discipline.
(2) A Minimum of 60% Marks for General / OBC, 55% Marks for SC / ST /PWBD for all Semesters or equivalent Grade.
(3) The degree completed from a University / Institute recognized by the Central Government or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Govt. of India.
Other Qualifications:
(1) Computer Knowledge: Basic Computer Literacy of Operation and Working Knowledge in Computer Systems. The qualification is essential, the selected candidate must either possess or acquire the computer knowledge within 06 Months from the date of Joining in PO position in Bank.
(2) Hindi Knowledge: Hindi Language should be required as Working level. The candidates are not possessed already, the selected candidates will pose before completion of probationary period.
Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee of ₹ 708/- (GST inclusive) for General and OBC Category Candidates; The Non-refundable fee of ₹ 118/- (Intimation charges only with GST) for SC / ST / PWD Category Candidates. The making of Application Fee / Intimation Charges only through Online Payment Mode using Debit Card, Credit Card and Internet Banking.
Selection Process: Online Objective Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Interview. The Online Exam will be conducted through Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai.
Online Test Patterns: Total Weighted Score - 200, Time - a Composite time of 2 hours
