IOCL has Refineries at Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon (all 3 in Assam), Barauni (Bihar), Vadodara (Gujarat), Haldia (West Bengal), Mathura (UP), Panipat (Haryana) and Paradip (Odisha). Age Limit: 18 to 24 Years as on 31st January 2018. The Upper Age relaxation 05 Years for SC / ST, 03 Years for OBC (NCL), Plus 10 Years for PwBD.
Educational Qualification:
Trade Apprentice - Secretarial Assistant -> 3 Years BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com Degree. Minimum 55% in aggregate; 50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD.
Trade Apprentice - Accountant -> 03 Years B.Com Degree. Minimum 55% in aggregate; 50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD.
Selection Process: Written Test and Personal Interview. The Selection shall be on the basis of performance in Written Test of two hours duration and Personal Interview in the ratio of 85:15. Acandidate will have to secure minimum 40% marks at each stage for qualifying the selection process. The minimum qualifying marks will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwBD categories considered against reserved positions at each stage of the selection process.
How to Apply: Eligible Interested candidates can apply for apprenticeship in any one of the Refinery units of his / her choice. The Online registration portal will be open from 13th January 2018. The last date for submission of online application is 03/02/2018 up to 5:00 PM.
