Age Limit: Born between 01 April 1997 to 31 March 2004. The Upper age is relaxable by 05 Years for SC/ST candidates.
Minimum Educational Qualification: As per Apprentices Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rule 1992, the minimum educational qualification for a person to undergo apprenticeship training in Designated trade shall be 8th passed / 10th Standard with a minimum of 50% marks in 8th/10th followed by ITI Examination (Provisional National Trade Certificate acceptable) in relevant Trade with aggregate of 65% marks.
Minimum Physical Standards: Height 150 cm, Weight not less than 45 Kg, Chest expansion not less than 5 cm, Eye sight 6/6 to 6/9 (6/9 corrected with glasses), external & internal organs to be normal. Physical standards is as per MoD Letter No. FM/0442/NHQ/1278 D(N-II) dated 14 Nov 1996 regarding standard of physical fitness.
Commencement of Training: April 2018.
Selection Process: The Preliminary selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Matric and ITI Examination. Candidates in the Preliminary Merit list will be called for Written Test to be held at Mumbai in the last week of January 2018. Candidates placed in the merit list on the basis of marks obtained in written examination, will be called for Interview/ Skill Test in February 2018.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to Apply Online through Bharti Seva Website. The online application would be opened from the third day (10:00 hrs) of publication of notification in Employment News and will remain open till 21 days after date of publication in Employment News (upto 23:50 hrs). i.e. Online registration of application will be open from 11/12/2017 to 02/01/2018.
